Assam mechanic gifts CM Sarma custom-made ‘Lamborghini’ lookalike: Details

A motor mechanic from Assam’s Karimganj district, Nurul Hoque, modified an old Maruti Suzuki Swift hatchback into a Lamborghini lookalike and has now gifted it to Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. Upon receiving the car on December 3, Sarma tweeted “Delighted to receive a modified Lamborghini lookalike car from innovator Nurul Haque of Anipur, Karimganj. My best wishes to him in all his future endeavours.”
Even though the efforts of the mechanic are well-appreciated, calling the car a Lamborghini is a bit of a stretch. However, it is pretty evident that supercars from the house of the Italian Bull were Hoque’s inspiration behind this project. The body panels of the Lamborghini lookalike are custom as well, and it also gets a massive rear wing. Hoque has also added aggressive looking bumpers on both ends to enhance its appeal. It is said to have taken him four months and about Rs 10 lakh to complete this project. He had always dreamt of driving a supercar like Lamborghini, which led him to create this project.
Hoque says that he will modify another car into a Ferrari next. “I will do more such projects if the government lends a hand,” said the mechanic.
