BBA student sodomised, pressured to chop private parts at Rajkot university | Rajkot News
RAJKOT: Five students of Rajkot-based Marwadi university were booked for allegedly sodomising a fellow student.
According to a complaint lodged by the father of the boy, the accused students had started harassing his son at the varsity hostel last month.
Three students had recorded the video of the victim bathing and started blackmailing him by threatening to circulate it widely. Thereafter they pressured him to either chop his private parts or jump from the hotel’s terrace.
The victim alleged that two times in the last month he was forced to take off his clothes and several items like hand sanitizer, honey, pencil and toothbrush injected in his anus.
According to varsity, the victim is a student of BBA first semester and three accused are BBA students from the first semester, one is from computer science, second year, and a minor is doing diploma in engineering.
The registrar of the university said, “The victim’s parents approached me on Thursday with this complaint, we immediately sent the complaint to the anti-ragging committee and initiated the process to rusticate the accused. We also went to the police station with the victim’s parents and lodged a complaint.”
