Sherlyn Chopra gets emotional as Juhu police refuses to record her statement against #MeToo accused Sajid Khan; says ‘Inke upar Salman Khan ka haath hai’

Sherlyn Chopra recently spoke to the media about #MeToo accused and Bigg Boss 16 contestant Sajid Khan and called him a habitual sexual offender and molester. She had also gone to the Juhu police station on October 19 to file a complaint against him. However, Sherlyn said she was informed by the police officials that she will be called to record her statement later. The actress and former BB contestant reached the Juhu Police station again but was apparently sent back. After coming out of the police station, Sherlyn spoke to the media and got emotional. The actress cried inconsolably and accused the cops at Juhu police station of refusing to record her statement.

Sherlyn spoke to a section of media about the same and said, “I was told that the officer who was incharge of my case is not around so I should come later. When I asked why I was not given a time despite calling repeatedly asking to record my statement, they are saying the incharge of my case is not here. I left messages, called back-to-back, but there was no revert. I requested them to handover my case to a lady in-charge and currently I am feeling helpless. (Sherlyn started crying).”

She further stated that she called up the Commissioner of Police spoke to him about it, “I called up Assistant Commissioner of Police and informed him that the Juhu police is not taking me seriously. I don’t know why they are doing this, are they under any pressure to not record my statement. I am thinking now that if being a celebrity I am facing this what all a common woman of this country must be going through. I just want people to know the truth. Mujhe chahiye nishpaksh jaanch Ho.”

Sherlyn not only accused the Juhu police but also Bollywood actor and Bigg Boss 16 host, Salman Khan of trying to save Sajid Khan, “I am not saying just blindly believe me, I want the authorities to investigate the matter but how will it happen if they are not ready to file my complaint or record my statement. They are taking me lightly. Everyone is watching this. Who should we ask justice from? They have asked to come around 8 PM and by then they will arrange a lady constable. My whole point is if they don’t want to take my complaint tell me, I’ll go to Bandra police, DCP office. I am not asking them to arrest Sajid Khan right now but at least they should investigate. My fans and people on social media are saying that ma’am you are wasting your time and police is not going to do anything because Sajid Khan ke sir par Salman Khan ka haath hai, people are telling this on social media. Unke hote Sajid ka koi Baal bhi baanka nahi kar sakta.”
