Tollywood celebs and fans mourn 24-year-old Aindrila Sharma’s untimely demise; say ‘We hoped for a miracle’

Actress Aindrila Sharma’s demise has brought a state of shockwave amid her industry peers and numerous fans who had been praying constantly praying for her recovery. The actress, who was admitted to the hospital in Howrah, where is breathed her last today afternoon, had put up a fierce fight against all odds. The mortal remains of Aindrila will be taken to her home from the hospital. She will be taken to Technician studio, in Tollypara where fans and her colleagues can pay homage. Her last rites will be performed at Keoratola.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has extended her condolences to Aindrila’s family. Meanwhile, her friends, industry peers and numerous fans have expressed their grief. Many celebrities rushed to the hospital to bid goodbye to the actress.

Actor Joytit Banerjee, who shares a close bond with beau Sabyasachi Chowdhury is completely heartbroken. Like many others, he was keeping in touch with Sabyasachi to know about the actress’ condition. He said, “None of us can accept this news. Earlier, I spoke to Sabyasachi and was hopeful that she will recover. I can’t express what I am feeling now. It is really painful and she is just 24 year old. It is really unfortunate.”

Actress Rachna Banerjee is taken aback by the shocking news. Recently, Aindrila had appeared on her show ‘Didi No. 1’. The actress and host was quite affectionate about Aindrila and always praised the young actress for her fighting spirit.

Gourab Roy Chowdhury, on the other hand, is completely numb after learning about the news. He said, “We all hoped for a miracle.”

Actor-turned-politician Kanchan Mallick took to his social media handle and wrote ‘I have no words… You will remain in our hearts.’
